Mr. Rawani is the founder of VernoHR. He started his career as a Journalist and later moved into investing. His key focus areas are event driven investing and mergers and acquisitions. In addition to VernoHR, he is currently associated with Horizon Research. He has participated in the creation and operational functioning of multiple SPACs such as PMV Consumer Acquisition Corp., LGL Systems Acquisition Corp. and Gabelli Value for Italy SPAC. LGL Systems has already announced a business combination with IronNet at PF EV of $927 million. He has screened over 100 companies (EV range $300 million to $3 billion) for potential acquisition from industries such as Cybersecurity, Autonomous driving, Robotics, SaaS, Lidar, E-commerce, Material science & nanotechnology.

Mr. Rawani was previously Senior Manager – Research at Bajaj Capital Limited. He started his career as a journalist at Outlook Money, a personal finance magazine. He also worked at media publications such as Financial Chronicle and The Economic Times as a business journalist. Mr. Rawani is a Chartered Financial Analyst and graduated with honors from Vinoba Bhave University with a BSc in Zoology and holds a Post Graduate Certification ‘Management of Business Finance’ from Indian Institute of Finance.

Mr. Kalha, FCA is a Managing Partner of Horizon Research, with 25 years experience in the investment industry and heads the New Delhi office. He has participated in the sponsorship, formation, operations and merger execution of SPAC’s in both Italy (VALU:IM) and US (DFNSU:NYSE) and (PMVC:NYSE). He is the Executive VP of Finance of PMVC. He was previously involved in manufacturing sector operations and distressed debt resolution and began his career In Arthur Andersen’s New Delhi office. Mr. Kalha serves on the board of LGL Group (NYSE Amex: LGL). Mr. Kalha holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) Sloan School of Management, a B.A. Honors in Economics from SRCC (University of Delhi) and is a Chartered Accountant and a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
